I. INTRODUCTION

Medinol Ltd. (“Medinol”) brings this action for damages and injunctive relief relating to the alleged infringement by Gui-dant Corp. and its subsidiary Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (collectively, “Guidant”) of certain of Medinol’s patents. 1 Medinol moves for summary judgment based on literal infringement of two of the three patents-in-suit, the ’120 Patent and the ’381 Patent.
