This is an action on a $1,500 policy of fire insurance which was issued by the defendant-company to the plaintiff W. M. Havirland on July 11, 1923. The policy covered the property described therein until June 11, 1924. The property insured was a two-story frame building located in the town of Femald, Iowa. The fire loss, which was total, occurred October 5, 1923. It is alleged in the petition that, immediately after said fire, the plaintiff W. M.
