OPINION
DAY, Justice.
Avmanco appeals the grant of a summary judgment in favor of defendant, the City of Grand Prairie (City). The trial court granted the City’s motion for summary judgment based on the affirmative defense of governmental immunity.
We affirm in part and reverse and remand in part.
The trial court granted this motion for summary judgment on July 19, 1991. This judgment was interlocutory because it did not dispose of the City’s counterclaims.
