The 1938 Act, the 1946 amendment thereto and the city ordinance thereunder. 1. The Act of 1938 (Ga. L. 1937-38, Ex. Sess., p. 103; Code Ann. Ch. 58-10), known as the “Revenue Tax Act to Legalize and Control Alcoholic Beverages and Liquors” unquestionably specifically sets forth the public policy of Georgia’s prohibiting the sale of any spirituous liquors on Sunday.
