David Franklin Morton brings this appeal from his conviction of two counts of armed robbery and one count of kidnapping with bodily injury. He was tried by jury in a joint trial with co-defendant Deborah Elaine Morton. The victim worked as a cashier at a Spur station located in an isolated area of Gwinnett County. After closing the station late at night, she was walking to her car when appellant suddenly grabbed and hit her.
