Appellant, Walter Hickey, Jr., seeks reversal of a judgment of the Knox ‘Circuit Court by which he was ordered to pay $8500.00 in lump sum alimony to appellee, Edwina Hickey.

No useful purpose would be served by a lengthy review of the evidence introduced before the Chancellor, and we deem it sufficient to adopt the findings of the Chancellor that a series of trivial incidents coupled with appellant’s penurious disposition pro*115duced a climate in which the marriage could no longer survive.
