Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Sullivan County, rendered July 31, 1972, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the *882crime of manslaughter in the second degree (Penal Law, § 125.15). Defendant was indicted for the murder of his wife (Penal Law, § 125.25). The indictment specified that defendant had caused the death by strangulation. Defendant testified that on September 16, 1971 the couple had an argument.
