GARZA, Circuit Judge:
William and Linda Book filed this lawsuit against Nordrill, Inc. (“Nordrill”), Oil & Gas Rental Services, Inc. (“Oil & Gas”), and Green-Ward Drilling Company (“Green-Ward”), seeking the recovery of damages for personal injuries sustained by Mr. Book. The Books alleged that Mr. Book was injured when he was ordered by his rig superintendent to assist in the offloading of steel casing pipe from the M/V Honorine which was tied to the D/B Nordrill Steeler. As Book was aboard the Honorine in the area of the pipe, a large wave enveloped the Honorine causing the pipe to break…
