This appeal arises from a claim for worker’s compensation filed by the wife and child of the decedent, Craig Burlin (Craig), against Craig’s employer, C.D. Montz & Company, Inc. (Montz) and its insurer, State Farm Fire & Casualty Company (State Farm). Christine Burlin (Christine), the widow, and Nicole Burlin, the minor child,1 seek death benefits for Craig’s death which occurred on August 4, 1996.
