This is an action for damages resulting to tbe plain tiff, the father, by reason of the death of a minor child, alleged to have been killed by the negligent operation of an automobile on a public highway. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff. The case comes to this court upon six exceptions. Of these the second, third and fourth were expressly abandoned by the appellant at the oral argument.
