Benson, J.:

The district court sustained a demurrer to plaintiff’s petition, and' she presents the record here to review that ruling. The petition alleges that the plaintiff was employed by the health officer of the defendant board to nurse several patients suffering from smallpox in a family which had been quarantined at their home near the city of Galena, by direction of the health officer, to prevent the spread of the disease; that the officer had found and decided that the persons so diseased needed immediate attention; that it would be an “act of…
