Alva Stiff, then age 14, was adjudged delinquent based on findings that, he was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of one count of burglary, and of two counts of murder (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 9 — 1(a) (1),(3)), After a dispositional hearing the respondent was committed to the custody of the Department of Corrections.
