Timothy R. Bowles was convicted of aggravated rape, attempted rape, and robbery. The Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed the convictions for the sexual offenses, but because the trial court failed to instruct the jury on the lesser-included offense of theft, the intermediate court reversed the robbery conviction.
