Plaintiff, claiming to be the owner of property abutting on Lake Stréet, in the city of Shreveport, alleges that the defendant has-wantonly and maliciously obstructed said street, whereby he has been injured, and he prays for judgment ordering the removal of the obstruction and condemning the defendant in damages, actual and punitory. The answer is a general denial, with an averment that the defendant has fene"ed in its right of way but has invaded no public or private-property.
