This case came to the circuit court of Wayne county on appeal from the commissioners on claims against the estate of Abigail Z. Riggs, deceased, who died October 12,1918, at the age of approximately 84 years. Her estate consisted of a limited amount of personal property of small value and a farm of about 100 acres located on Michigan avenue near the Belleville road in Canton township, Wayne county, shown to have a market value at the time of her death of $300 per acre, and was apparently increasing in value.
