Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Madison County (Kepner, J.), rendered December 7, 1987, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of sodomy in the first degree.

In August 1987, defendant, a 70-year-old man, was indicted and charged with one count of sodomy in the first degree, four counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of unlawful imprisonment in the second degree.
