Appellant was adjudged guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment for the second-degree murder of his wife. On appeal, he argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion for judgment of acquittal because the evidence presented by the State was wholly circumstantial and not inconsistent with his reasonable hypothesis of innocence. Our standard of review is de novo. Pagan v. State, 830 So.2d 792, 803 (Fla. 2002).
