This is a condemnation action initiated by the Tennessee Valley Authority pursuant to Title 16 U.S.C. §§ 831-831dd for the taking of defendants’ property in connection with the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Tellico Dam and Reservoir Project. T.V.A. filed this action on November 12, 1974, at which time, pursuant to a written contract between the parties, it deposited into the registry of the Court $1,700.00 as compensation for the property sought.
