In July of 1937, defendant was a corporation engaged in the wholesale liquor business in the City of Wilmington. Its stock was owned solely by one Morton Lazarus. Plaintiff and Lazarus, on behalf of defendant corporation, entered into a contract, terminable by either party on thirty days notice, under the terms of which defendant employed plaintiff as manager of its business at a salary of $75 per week.
