This was an action on the case, brought by appellee against the appellant, to recover damages for personal injuries sustained in being run over by a locomotive on a highway crossing near Centraba, Illinois. The case was tried by a jury and a verdict returned in favor of appellee for $5,000, on which judgment was rendered, and from which an appeal was taken to this court.
