RAMSEY, Judge.

Relator C. G. Thomas is being held by A. L. Ledbetter, sheriff of Dallas County, by virture of a warrant issued by W: M. Edwards, justice of the peace of precinct Ho. 1 in Dallas County, Texas, charging" him with the offense of disposing of mortgaged property. He made application for a writ of habeas corpus to Hon. W. W. Helms of the Criminal District Court of Dallas County, Texas, who, on hearing, remanded him into custody. The appointment of Mike D.
