MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

DECKER, District Judge.

Plaintiffs, International Korwin Corp., Famous Music Corporation, Northern Mu sic Company, Prophet Music, Inc., Chappell & Co., Inc., Northridge Music Company, and Warner Brothers, Inc., brought this copyright infringement action against defendant, Tadeusz Kowalczyk, pursuant to the Copyright Act of 1976 (Act), 17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq. Plaintiffs alleged defendant infringed plaintiffs’, copyrights in seven musical compositions by publicly performing the compositions without the permission of plaintiffs or plaintiffs’ representatives.…
