About 1885 C. A. Johnson conveyed to T. J. Chenault two parcels of land. Chenault paid on the land about $150, and executed notes for the balance of the purchase money. Some time after this, and in 1889, it was agreed) between Johnson and Chenault that Chenault should take *281one of the parcels for what he had paid and convey the other tract, which is the land now in dispute, hack to Johnson in settlement of the unpaid notes.
