OPINION BY HUDOCK, J.:

¶ 1 This is an appeal from the judgment of sentence entered after Appellant was convicted of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. 1 We affirm.

¶ 2 Appellant was charged with aggravated assault and other crimes in Mercer County, New Jersey, on August 10, 1998. Bail was set at fifty thousand dollars. A bail bond was issued and Appellant was released from custody pending trial. However, he failed to appear in court on October 10, 2000 for a criminal proceeding.
