This is an application for a peremptory writ of mandamus to require the board of election commissioners of Niagara county to do all acts necessary to have submitted to the electors of the city of Niagara Falls at the general election appointed to be held on the 6th day of November, 1917, the names of certain candidates claimed to be the nominees of the Democratic party for the various offices provided under chapter 300 of the Laws of 1904 as amended.
