Defendant is a national bank, organized under the National Bank Act (U. S. Code, tit. 12, § 21 et seq.). Pursuant to authorization by the Comptroller of the Currency, it transacts banking business in the village of Franklin Square, Nassau County, New York. In this suit, brought by the State because of alleged violations by defendant of subdivision 1 of section 258 of the New York Banking Law, defendant has been restrained and enjoined “ from advertising or otherwise using the word ‘ saving ’ or ‘ savings ’ in relation to its banking or financial business in its dealings with the public, and…
