| iThe State charged the defendant with four counts of aggravated incest in 2009. In 2011, the trial court denied defendant’s motion to quash in which he cited the two-year time period for commencement of trial set forth in La.Code Crim.P. art. 578(A)(2). Ultimately, and pursuant to a plea agreement, the defendant entered a guilty plea. The trial court thereafter rejected the State’s sentencing recommendation and imposed sentences totaling fifty years.
