Juan Alcantar was convicted by a jury of conspiring to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) & 846, and of attempting to possess cocaine with the intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846. The district court sentenced Alcantar to a prison term of 188 months. In this appeal, Alcantar argues that the evidence at trial was insufficient to support Ms conspiracy conviction because the government’s case depended upon the inherently incredible testimony of a confidential informant.
