FENNER, Chief Judge.

Tabitha J. Summitt appeals from the dismissal of the respondents, Grain Valley R-5 School District (“School District”) and the City of Grain Valley (“City”), from the underlying action, an action arising out of an automobile/pedestrian accident that occurred on October 5, 1992. The trial court determined that both the School District and the City were shielded by sovereign immunity, *633§ 537.600, RSMo 1993 Supp.1 In her sole point on appeal, Ms. Summitt contends that the trial court erred when it dismissed the City and the School District from the underlying action because…
