This appeal follows a jury trial. Appellants Joshua and Jordana Bernstein present three issues challenging the jury’s verdict in favor of Matthew and Lindsay Thomas on a claim under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. The Bern-steins first contend the trial court erred in failing to direct a verdict or grant their motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict because the evidence presented at trial negated the element of reliance as a matter of law.
