This suit grows out of a collision 'of two freight trucks on the paved highway No. 51 near Velma in Tangipahoa parish, about 2:30 o’clock on the morning of December 29, 1936. Plaintiff alleges that he was driving a truck of the Hester Truck Lines, Inc., going south on the above highway, and a truck of the Silver Fleet System of Memphis was being driven north on said highway, and that this Silver Fleet truck was traveling in the center of the road, straddling the center black line; that said Silver Fleet truck had no lights, or lights so dim that they would not penetrate the thick…
