TJOFLAT, Circuit Judge:

The sole issue in this case is whether the appellant, Mary Ann Himmelwright, was subjected to an illegal search at the hands of customs officials at the Miami International Airport. This issue was resolved against the appellant in the proceedings below. United States v. Himmelwright, 406 F.Supp. 889 (S.D.Fla.1975). The search in question revealed that Ms. Himmelwright was attempting to smuggle some 105 grams of cocaine into this country by hiding the contraband in her vagina.
