THOMAS, Judge.

Defendant, Timothy Glenn Smith, appeals from convictions of first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and first-degree burglary.

Defendant sets forth nine assignments of error. For the reasons herein, we find no error.

The State’s evidence tends to show the following: On 19 January 1999, defendant pawned a skill saw and socket wrench at Bryant’s Gun and Pawn. They had been stolen from Ethel Mae Todd, defendant’s seventy-two-year-old landlord.
