DECISION

Before the Court is defendants' motion for a new trial, pursuant to Rule 59 of the Rhode Island Superior Court Rules of Civil Procedure.

This matter arose out of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on November 5, 1985. The plaintiff, Joseph Neves (Neves), was operating a truck leased from defendants U-Haul Rentals, U-Haul Company of Rhode Island, and Rentals Unlimited, Inc. (collectively, U-Haul).
