Plaintiff Eduardo Ortiz brings this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) for *193judicial review of the final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security ("Commissioner") denying his claim for disability benefits under the Social Security Act (the "Act"). Both parties have moved for judgment on the pleadings pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(c).1 For the reasons stated below, Ortiz's motion is denied and the Commissioner's motion is granted.
