The defendant was convicted in the court of common pleas of Oklahoma county of the crime of unlawful possession of intoxicating liquor and sentenced to pay a fine of $50, and serve 30 days in jail. From this judgment and sentence, he has appealed.
The record in this case reveals that the defendant, Doss Grimes, was arrested by police officers of Oklahoma City on the 30th day of October, 1937, and charged in police court of said city, with the unlawful possession of 20 pints of assorted brands of tax paid liquor.
