The appellants claim to be entitled to the possession for mining purposes of two lots designated respectively, for convenience, as the Delaney lot and the Stephenson lot, and base that claim upon a parol license from the former owners of these lands to some remote predecessors in occupation under whom appellants claim by relinquishments, parol transfers, and succession in occupation and use for more than twenty years nest prior to the commencement of the action.
