RUSSELL, Circuit Judge.

As the named beneficiary in two certificates of National Service Life Insurance for $5,000.00 each of which had been issued to her son, Jim Tom Roberts, while in the United States Army, the appellee, Mrs. Roberts, filed suit for the recovery of said insurance. She alleged that the insurance had been kept in force and that the premiums due had .been paid throughout the month of March, 1946, and that on or before January 1st, 1946, the insured had become totally and permanently disabled, which disability continued until the date of his death on June 13th, 1946.
