THE ACTION

This is an action for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff Robyn G. Haggard on December 17, 1973, arising out of a terrorist bombing while she was a fare-paying passenger on board Pan American Flight No. 110 at Rome airport prior to its scheduled departure for Beirut, Lebanon. As a result, Robyn, then 16 years old, allegedly sustained multiple second and third degree burns to about 30% of her body, which required skin grafts to various parts of her body, and resulted in hypertrophie scarring over the graft areas, severe disfigurement and…
