HUMPHREYS, Judge.

Bobby DeShawn Byrd (“Byrd”) appeals his conviction for possession of heroin with intent to distribute, in violation of Code § 18.2-248. On appeal, Byrd argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress heroin found in his jacket pocket. Byrd claims that the heroin was recovered as a result of an unreasonable search in violation of the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
