ALDRICH, Circuit Judge.
This is an appeal from the dismissal of a complaint for failure to state a cause of action. The plaintiff contends that he has alleged three causes — for unfair competition, for invasion of privacy and for defamation. According to the complaint the plaintiff is a professional entertainer who has achieved stardom — with commensurate financial success — on the legitimate stage, in motion pictures, on radio, television and other entertainment media throughout the United States, Canada and elsewhere.
