I. INTRODUCTION
Plaintiff Frontier Refining, Inc. (“Frontier”) brought an action for equitable implied indemnity against Gorman-Rupp Co., Inc. (“Gorman-Rupp”) in the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. Frontier sought to recover approximately $19.25 million paid to settle personal injury claims made against Frontier and its affiliated companies after an explosion and fire at the Frontier Refinery in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
