In this diversity case,1 plaintiff Hartford Fire Insurance Company (“Hartford”) brought suit against defendant George Perinovic (“Perinovic”) for his alleged failure to honor certain indemnity agreements made with Hartford for any costs it incurred as surety for a travel services company.
