This case is before ns on a petition for leave to appeal from an order of the Superior Court of Cook County entered on April 24, 1963, granting a new trial to the plaintiff Ella Louise Panelle. The transcript of the post-trial motion showed that the court considered all the assignments of error enumerated by tbe plaintiff and granted a new trial solely upon the ground tbat be understood counsel for tbe defendant, CTA, in his address to tbe jury to make remarks to tbe effect tbat “there would not be enough money collected in a year to pay out tbe claims in a month.” Tbe judge commented “there…
