The plaintiffs in error filed their petition in the Circuit Court of Escambia county against the defendant in error, as clerk of the Circuit Court for said county, praying for mandamus to compel the said respondent as such clerk to permit the relators and their employes to the number of thbee to have access to the public records of his office and to malee abstracts therefrom.
