DECISION AND ORDER ON PLAINTIFFS’ EMERGENCY MOTION FOR PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION AND TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER

This is an emergency decision in an election law case. The plaintiffs filed the case on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, after the close of business, seeking emergency relief to place their candidate’s name on the ballot. I held oral argument Thursday afternoon, August 28.
