On April 3, 1912, Edward Raymond Marsters, then unmarried, had his life insured, in a 20-year life insurance policy in the sum of $2,000 in favor of his mother, Effa L. Marsters, the insured reserving the right to change the beneficiary at any time. Sometime thereafter, the insured was married to Bertha H. Marsters and on August 6,1921, he had the beneficiary in said policy changed to his wife, said Bertha H. Marsters.
