The defendant, Michael Arron, had been indicted on the charge of armed robbery on July 8, 1967. He was released on a $1000 bond on June 5, 1968. He was subsequently indicted on November 19, 1968, for the offense of “jumping bail” in violation of section 32 — 10 of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1963, ch. 38, par. 32 — 10). He was arrested on December 15, 1970, and counsel was appointed to represent him.
