People v. Maldonado

Order, Supreme Court, New York County (Martin Rettinger, J.), entered September 22, 1992, which granted defendant William Maldonado’s motion to dismiss the indictment charging him with escape in the first degree, is reversed, and the indictment is reinstated.

On April 16, 1992, defendant was arrested at the corner of Avenue B and East 3rd Street during a buy and bust operation being conducted in lower Manhattan.
