*640 Plaintiffs, Deborah Bennett and Marsha Christine Wilson, initiated this action following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on November 16, 2013. The trial court granted summary disposition in favor of defendant Dennis Hogge under MCR 2.116(C)(10). Plaintiffs appeal by right. We conclude that the trial court erred by dismissing plaintiffs' claim against Hogge because liability under a negligent-entrustment theory is not limited to the owner of the vehicle negligently operated.
